LATEST ADDITIONS TO OUR SCHEDULE

Liz Danzico Confirmed!
Liz Danzico, Editor-in-Chief of pioneering UX mag Boxes and Arrows, is going to speak at Canux 2006! For all the talk of Web 2.0, there’s been little said about how content fits into the world of AJAX, RSS, social media, and RESTful APIs. Liz will draw on her experience helming the web’s premier UX publication, and her day job with the AIGA as Director of Experience Strategy where she manages content strategy for platforms ranging from AIGA’s print book publishing to member created sites.

John Morkes Confirmed
John Morkes, of Expero, Inc. and Free Usability Advice, is confirmed for CanUX 2006! We are delighted that John accepted our invitation to speak – his sessions at the NNGroup’s User Experience tour have been fantastic – his topics include content usability and writing for the web. John will be speaking about "Joy of Use: Is It Time Yet?".

Kevin Cheng Confirmed
Kevin Cheng, of OK Cancel fame, is confirmed for CanUX 2006! – his workshop and session at the IA Summit were amazing – using comics as a rapid prototyping tool is very very cool. So if you missed him at the Summit, or see his excellent work again, come to Banff.

Banff Centre Leadership Development Confirms!
Adding to our world class roster of speakers, we’ve confirmed with Colin Funk that the Leadership Development program will participate in CanUX 2006. Colin’s session on improv last year was a highlight of the event for many, and it really set CanUX apart from simply being a collection of user experience tutorials.

More speakers will be added soon. (but this list is amazing already so you need to come)

Last years event was really great and Banff in the fall is incredible. Look at the photos from last year:
