New pictures in my Toy Comic Toolkit

New pictures from the Toy Comic Toolkit

I have taken some new pictures for my Toy Comic Toolkit, some Stock Characters. I needed just some simple people shots where I could:

  • Crop or extend the canvas
  • Change the background colours
  • Combine characters into simple cells

That is the update. It is a simple one, check it out I hope you like them.

This is a project that can help bryce justify his playmobil collection which is considerable.

The Toy Comic Toolkit

Inspired by a presentation given by kev/null Communicating Concepts Through Comics, I created a set of images that I could use to quickly make comics. The current set of images covers most of the needs I have but I definitely intend to make more and post them here for people. I also hope to talk about how you can use these images to make comics quickly. I’d slap a beta sticker on this page if that wasn’t rediculous. It is a work in progress which all things are unless they are stagnant or dead.

You can find all the images on Flickr – The Toy Comic Toolkit.

The cell images are CC so please feel free to use them. I’d appreciate it if you dropped a comment on the images if you do.
